Our story telling business traverses the realm of 'Word Of Mouth' to the realm of 'Word Of Mouse'.

We are 'Rebels' to tradition and conventions. We pose 'Why Not' to every 'Why'. We believe No Mission Is Impossible.

We offer clients Consumer Insights, Business Intelligence, Trend Watching Services and Competition Monitoring and fuse these elements into communications for clients.

Sometimes, the change occurs at both levels. We nevertheless find the balance between our radical approach and the need to respect our clientís culture.

Working with us involves an undertaking to change the way your business sees the world and the way the world sees your business.

Every wakefulness, we are driven by the conventions we can challenge and the opportunity to deliver value to our clients with audacious thinking.

With the mind of an advocate, we tell the story of our clients across multiple platforms. The result? Engagement!

Our stories are compelling. With them, we change The Rules Of Engagement to help deliver value to our clients.

We are not prisoners to any business tradition or conscripts to corporate dogmas. The truth we are unafraid to tell our clients is, we are unconventional!

Chain Reactions Nigeria Sets Pace in PR Industry, Wins 2014 Cannes Lion PR Category

Strategy and Reputation Management consulting firm, Chain Reactions Nigeria has set yet another record for the Public Relations industry in Nigeria as it emerged winner of the 2014 National Cannes Young Lions Competition (PR Category).

The national competition was the pre-selection stage where teams that will represent Nigeria at the 2014 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, in June, were voted by a jury made up of respected marketing communications practitioners.

The different categories competed for included Media, Film, Design and Public Relations with entries received from representatives of firms in the marketing communication sub-sector.

The duo of Ophylia Ibekwe and Efetive Eguko flew the flag on behalf of Chain Reactions Nigeria. Their winning presentation, which was adjudged the best by the jury, was a response to a brief to raise funds for a social cause being promoted by a non-governmental organisation. In addition to the trophy that was presented to them for their feat, the two 'young lions' will also wear the Nigerian colours as the country's ambassadors to the Young Lions PR Competition at Cannes, France, in June 2014.

Commenting on the accomplishment, the Chief Strategist, Chain Reactions Nigeria, Mr. Israel Opayemi, saluted the duo for their brilliance, which he said, was motivated by their immersion in the company's core value of "can-do spirit".

"We are very proud of our two ambassadors for their demonstration of rare courage and sheer determination to succeed against all odds. Their effrontery to put themselves up for an intellectually and professionally tasking challenge at their level and age is something that we truly celebrate.

"As a company, our guiding philosophy has always been the belief that no mission is impossible and that with a can-do spirit and uncommon passion, there is no height too lofty that we cannot reach the summit. So, we are convinced that this same spirit was the motivation behind the success,'' he said.

Speaking at the dinner and awards night in Lagos, where the winners were announced, the Registrar/CEO, Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), Mr. Garba Kankarofi, said efforts geared towards spotting creative abilities among pupils from secondary schools will elevate Nigeria's status and tendency to berth winning works at the Cannes just like Brazil and India are currently making their marks on the global creative map.

In his welcome remarks, the CEO of Chini Production, the representatives of the Cannes Festivals in Nigeria and organisers of the event, Mr. Nnamdi Ndu, stated that the creative industry in Nigeria was recording great progress. He said the quality of materials received and judged year after year in the competition attested to the growth of the industry.

"I must say that judging from what we're seeing from materials created by the Young Lions and even students in Roger Hatchuel Academy, there is hope. Year after year, we see bolder and more creative presentations from our youth. I hope that as the world gathers in Cannes this year, our voice will sound stronger and louder and our story will come through the clutter," he said.

Other young winners who will be representing Nigeria at the Cannes Festival include X3M Ideas' team of Isaac Omaga Idirigbe and Jessica Ehinomen Onuwabhagbe, who won the Young Lions Design Competition; MediaReach OMD's duo of Joshua Fakayode and Rotimi Ogunwede, as winners of the Young Lions Media Competition and Etuodi Communications' team comprising Olanrewaju Yusuf and Oluwatosin Sanni, who won the Young Lions Film Competition.

Testimonial

PR SPARC advocacy conference in Nigeria.

I just want to let you know that I received the Media Monitoring booklet this week, and my entire team and organisation loved it! We were very impressed with the personalised booklet we received as it was above and beyond what we had expected (we especially loved the cover!). We really appreciate all of the help that you and your team provided to make the SPARC Forum a great success.

So thanks again for all of your support; we will be sure to keep in touch if we have any other PR needs the next time we are in Nigeria.

Kind regards.
